Milford FC has announced the departure of 10 players, including the former Orlando Pirates defender Diamond Thopola, who joined the Motsepe Foundation Championship side in January.

Thopola joined the Stallions after being released by Magesi, where he helped them secure promotion to the Betway Premiership.

Amongst the 10 players who are not in the club’s plans for the 2025/26 campaign, four of them will return to their parent clubs following the conclusion of their loan agreements.

The players whose contracts have expired are Vuyo Macina, Thobani Mncwango, Thobela Sikhakhane, Lifa Hlongwane, Nqobani Zungu, and Thopola.

The players whose loan agreements have concluded are Bongani Nkone, Makhetha Tsotetsi, and Siseko Gunya, who will return to Sekhukhune United.

Meanwhile, Shane Saralina will return to Orlando Pirates.

The club has shown appreciation for the player’s contribution and wishes them well in their future ventures.

“We wish them well for their future endeavours, and their contribution during the time they were in the club is appreciated,” the statement reads.
